Mommy and Me Session for Lea and Faith
Lea is a long-time client and first-time mom! I originally met her a few years ago when I photographed her headshots for Actasana , the acting studio she founded here in Denver. I was so excited when she hired me for her maternity shoot, and then just felt so honored when she asked me to come back to capture a morning at home with her adorable daughter Faith.
We chose to stay in their house because I firmly believe that these photos are the most important ones later in life. This is the home where Faith came home to and where she spent her first months, maybe years of life. They won’t live in this house forever and now they tangible, documented moments of the memories they made here.
We spent time in Faith’s room, playing and laughing. Lea and Faith snuggled on the bed, practiced some walking, and showed me her favorite new trick: rolling over! Faith was an absolute angel throughout the whole shoot and Lea seemed so comfortable in front of the camera.
I love building my relationships with clients on a personal level and I hope to be a part of this family for a long time!
