Natalya’s Red Rocks photoshoot
Natalya came to me because she wanted to surprise her husband with a beautiful red rocks photoshoot. And surprise him we did! She even brought him to the viewing session after our shoot and he still had no idea what was going on until I started the slideshow. He kept saying, “When did you do this?” He was shocked and so touched. They couldn’t wait to hang the photos in their home.
As for the shoot itself, she was amazing. Her hair was beautiful and she got flawless makeup done from Brittany at Alchemy Artistry. We took intimate photos at her home, which had the perfect amount of soft light streaming in through the windows. Amazing location for her Denver portraits.
Then we had an outfit change and headed outdoors. She picked out a gorgeous red dress that she looked absolutely stunning in. We originally wanted the red dress to be a stark contrast against snow, but it barely snowed at all in February this year. We decided Red Rocks would still work though, and I’m so thrilled we did. I ended up loving the bright red dress against the softer color of the rocks. This is a special place for Natalya and her husband as they spend lots of time there.
I could tell she was a little shy during our shoot, but the bashfulness was also so sweet. And despite nerves, her body language was so confident. I’m so happy to have captured these images for both of them at our Red Rocks photoshoot. Pregnancy looks beautiful on Natalya, and I cannot wait to see their sweet little one.

I love the Russian nesting dolls! That’s such a unique idea. Red Rocks is one of my favorite places in Denver in general, and I always think it’s such a lovely location for maternity portraits as it’s so unique and romantic feeling. <3
