Cool Headshots | Cheryl at the Paint Mines

Cheryl is one of a kind!  She is absolutely wonderful and wanted to have her personal brand headshots done in a way that didn’t look like everyone else’s business headshots.  She wanted a look that represented her spiritual side and emphasized the goddess within! The cool headshots we captured at the Paint Mines in Calhan Colorado truly represented who Cheryl is.

The Paint Mines are a bit of a drive from Denver, but so worth every windy second.  When you drive up to the canyon, you have no idea how gorgeous this space is until you walk right up to it.  Cheryl brought these beautiful bright colored dresses that she said made her feel most like herself.  The colors worked perfectly with the muted whites, pinks and yellows surrounding her.

This very last shot was taken as we were hiking back to the car.  I looked over with the sun setting and realized that we had to get one more before leaving.  It’s funny that this one just so happens to be my very favorite out of all of them.  She looks so comfortable, at home, and authentically herself.

Cheryl was so much fun to photograph, and this unique set of photos makes my heart smile.  I love knowing that we got to the heart of what she wanted to communicate through imagery, and that she loves them all just as much as I do.  I cannot wait to work on her next idea!
